Out of the mouths of babes

Today I tried to get Eva to wear cute little pink Mary Janes with her pink tights and brown and pink argyle sweater dress. She flat out refused. Her reasoning: "Those are not in season now Mommy, it's snowing. I need to wear my brown boots." I couldn't argue with her logic but I guess I don't have a future fashionista on my hands. She won't take after Mommy in the shoe department. I guess she gets her footwear gene from the Lifschultz's who are way more practical in that regard. Oh well....
