All the money we spend on toys

for these ding dang kids and Eva sits on the couch and plays "batteries" (that's what she calls it)? Really? Believe me, I know I'm not the first person to ponder this phenomenon but I think it's a code that we collectively need to crack. If you saw how many toy boxes and piles of toys these kids have scattered around this house you'd look at me judgingly. It borders on excessive yet she sits indian style on the couch dumping D batteries out of flashlight and putting them back in. Over and over again. I asked her what she's doing and she tells me "I'm busy playing batteries mama". Okay then.

HAPPY 95th birthday Grandma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What better reason for me to be back to blogging could there be than to wish my Grandma a happy 95th!! birthday!!! This woman pretty much rocks in every way and I can't wait for many many more happy and healthy birthdays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
